Benin Park Foundation was founded in 1999.
Our mission is to empower our youth & young adults through literacy and technology enrichment opportunities.

We are proud to announce the launch of Stampede To Read,  beginning February 1, 2011. Our objective is to promote the importance of literacy in-the-home for our children.  We will have two goals:
1. Provide free 1-year subscriptions of children's magazines, to youth in North Carolina and beyond. Subscriptions are renewed at the request of the parent each year. 
If you are a parent interested in receiving a free magazine subcription for your child,  write to info@beninpark.org or complete our Contact Form.
2. Provide free books and magazines, that are culturally affirming, educational and FUN,
 in venues where children visit or congregate.
